Using the requirements of the client and investigating the project, our Estimating department will put together a budget and schedule for the works. They will determine which, if any, resources need to be procured. Operational staff will liaise with the engineering department and prepare a detailed plan for the prospective works.
The Operations department will take control of the project and allocate and distribute tasks according to the detailed plan. A hierarchy is installed to responsibilities are understood and carried out.
Contract managers, Site managers and supervisors will compare project status and progress to the actual plan, as resources perform the scheduled work. During this phase, Project managers may need to adjust schedules or do what is necessary to keep the project on schedule and budget.
After project tasks are completed and the client has approved the outcome, an evaluation is necessary to highlight project success and/or learn from project history.
